Dopo Participates in Meals on Wheels Benefit

Meals on Wheels, the national group that provides food for homebound seniors, has two gala fundraisers in the works.

On April 23, the Five-Star Gala at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension in Oakland benefits Alameda County Meals on Wheels. The event includes a silent auction, four-course dinner and entertainment. The dinner will be prepared by chefs from East Bay restaurants such as Lalime’s, Bocanova, Bay Wolf, Garibaldis, Marzano, Dopo, Pican, Picante, Citron and Bakesale Betty, directed by Narsai David.

Tickets are $250. For reservations and information, call (510) 577-3580 or go to feedingseniors.org.
